Cabin FAQ

  • Cabins are available on weekends (2-night stay min) when we are not hosting a large event. Please check here for availability and to book.

If you’d like to get on the list to receive cabin release dates and rate specials, please sign up for our cabin subscription in the footer.

  • Absolutely! Comfort is key. Every cabin has a full-sized flushing toilet, just like you would find at home or in a hotel room.

  • Each cabin is carefully sited with complete privacy in mind. The oversized picture window faces outward over the ridge or into the private wooded areas. Privacy curtains are also provided in the closet of each cabin, and can easily be hung on the hooks at the window.

  • One of our cabins is ADA accessible. Please contact the Gather Greene team at office@gathergreene.com or (838) 877-0083 if you require an ADA cabin. While we are fully ADA compliant, we will also do our best to accommodate any specific needs.

  • Wi-fi is available at the Pavilion and in the guest lounge, which are a short walk from the cabins. The cabins also have excellent cell reception, so guests can connect via personal hotspot.

  • Yes! We love hosting groups and think it’s the perfect way to enjoy Gather Greene. We offer group cabin blocks, as well as property buy-outs if you’d like exclusive use of the pavilion and grounds. Please contact us at events@gathergreene.com with details about your stay.

  • In addition to the mini fridge and hot water kettle in each cabin, there is a shared refrigerator, microwave, and toaster available for use in the guest lounge, but we do not provide cooking facilities for guests.

We encourage guests to explore the overwhelming number of delicious restaurants close by! See our suggestions here: Area Info.

  • No, we don't allow any grilling at Gather Greene. If you’d like BBQ, we recommend heading over to the Coxsackie Boat Launch — a beautiful spot right on the Hudson with public grills.

  • Aside from the light breakfast on weekends, there is no food and beverage programming on site.

  • Please visit our Google Map for a list of local businesses, including restaurants, florists, and a wine shop that deliver to Gather Greene. For all deliveries, please provide your phone number and meet your delivery person at the Pavilion when they arrive!

  • Yes! The Reed Street Bottle Shop in Coxsackie delivers! Order online or visit them in-store for a selection of wine, spirits, and canned cocktails. Orders must be in by 4pm for same day delivery.

  • For everyone’s comfort and enjoyment, we ensure that individual cabin stays DO NOT overlap with wedding weekends and vice versa.

Enjoy the Grounds

Guests have full access to explore Gather Greene, perched on 100 acres of woods, open fields, and trails. Meander through the forest to arrive at the shale quarry pond, watch the sun set over the Berkshire and Catskill mountains, hang out in the guest lounge at the Pavilion, relax and read in one of our hammocks, or retreat to your cabin for total privacy.

Weather permitting, we invite guests to gather around a campfire for stories and s’mores in the North Field on Fridays and Saturdays.

Car Services

Having a car is the easiest way to explore the surrounding area. Enterprise in Hudson will meet you at Hudson Amtrak Station if you want to train up and rent a car locally.

Rideshare apps (Uber / Lyft) are generally easy when you’re in Hudson or Catskill, but pick-ups at Gather Greene will be more difficult. If you need a ride while here, call Hudson Region Transport: (518) 697-0056.

Driving at Gather Greene

Please be mindful of your speed as you drive on Levett Road. We have several neighbors with small children, and want to make sure everyone feels respected and safe!

On the grounds, the cabin paths are for walking (or golf carts), but were not designed for cars or trucks. We kindly ask that you do not drive on the walking paths. Thank you!

Winter Driving

We are located at the top of a long, steep, and winding private road. We highly recommend 4-Wheel or All-Wheel drive during winter conditions of snow and ice.

In the event that you are not able to make it up the road, we do not have the resources here to help you move your car or give you a ride up. Please plan accordingly!

So nice I had to stay twice...

This was the perfect escape...the cabins were pristine, the bed incredibly comfortable and you wake up feeling like you are in the trees.
